Renee Naccari
Renee Naccari is no longer hiding her chaos, she’s dancing in it. The Melbourne-based artist has undergone a striking evolution, emerging from a past of dreamy alt pop into a raw, dark, and seductive new chapter. Her sound now melts dance pop, dark pop, and glittering electronic seduction, oozing with the intensity of red neon lights, whispered confessions in a club bathroom, and the hypnotic heat of a mental breakdown you somehow look good having.
2024 marked a turning point for Naccari, with the release of her debut album and its final track, 222, serving as a quiet prelude to the transformation that followed. Her single FANTASY was the full arrival — a lustful, cinematic anthem that introduced her rebirth. Inspired by the kind of chemistry that hurts, the track slithers with sensuality and power, visually drawing from the mythology of the snake and the apple, control, temptation, and transformation.
Her newest era, led by the single OB$ESSIVE (co-written with producer Nat J Sherwood), takes her chaos to new heights. Paired with a lavish, unapologetically bratty music video featuring Aussie Shore stars Catia Sinigaglia and Rihana Pearson and collaborations with Unreal Fur, Arms of Eve, and Trashy Timez, OB$ESSIVE explores fixation and fantasy through a satirical lens of fame and desire.
But for Renee, the chaos runs deeper than the visuals. “I didn’t want to contain myself anymore,” she says. “I’m chaotic. I always have been. And now I’m embracing it.” That energy defines her artistry, where heavy basslines meet poetic vulnerability, and rebellion, empowerment, and intimacy collide. Embrace the Chaos isn’t just a tagline; it’s a manifesto.
Raised in a family of musicians, Renee began on piano before teaching herself guitar at fifteen using her mother’s Takamine. Encouraged by her father Adrian (a singer) and mother Fiona (a music teacher), she released her first single at twelve and was selected to perform at Top Class, a showcase of VCE music excellence. Since then, she’s carved out a distinctive voice and sound that fuses the emotional storytelling of her early work with the bold, seductive pulse of her current artistry. Renee’s performances have spanned stages across Australia and abroad, including The Palms at Crown for Futuration Season 2, Keep It Together Festival alongside The Veronicas, Homegrown Festival, and international appearances as a lead vocalist in Thailand. Her next major milestone sees her performing the National Anthem at the NBL on December 7, 2025, a televised performance marking another step in her artistic rise.
As she continues evolving, Renee is preparing for her next full-length project, Provocative Mood Swings, a concept album that dives into the highs and lows of emotional extremes and seduction. Inspired by her own experiences living with BPD, it transforms vulnerability into creative power, moving between euphoric highs and intoxicating lows. This is more than reinvention. This is Renee Naccari, unleashed, embracing chaos, commanding attention, and turning emotion into art.
